The Theory and Clinical Nursing Practice :
ReplyDeleteParse’s nursing theory proposed that nursing is a process of human interaction between the nurse and client A nurse that have decided to integrate Parse's theory of becoming into his or her clinical practice should understand the following, "The nurse cannot give health because it is freely created by persons themselves. The nurse cannot direct others about what choices are best because it is the person who has the unique vision of what might be. The nurse guided by Parse's theory listens and respects the vision, even when it is different from what others might choose".
The theory strengthens the nurse-patient relationship because the nurse is not focused on "fixing" problems. The client is the primary decision maker Instead it allows the nurse to view the patient as a whole person living experiences through his or her environment. Parse defines the nursing practice as a science and art. Enhances quality of life from client’s perspective

ReplyDeleteMy 17 year old son had Huntington’s Disease HD and no social life. Everybody picks on him in school he stays cooped up in his room 24/7. Also he doesn't want to play any sports and he is not in any club at school. No one wants to be his friend and it hurts me so bad and he felt bad also.
